Ms. April is a lifelong Peachtree City resident with more than 25 years of experience working with preschoolers. She has taught at both Peachtree City Montessori and Acton Academy at Serenbe, and in 2021, she founded Canongate Cottage Montessori School. In 2016, she earned her AMS Montessori Certification while raising her four children, who also attended PTC Montessori. Passionate about early education, Ms. April has supported many local families and continues to bring warmth, structure, and joy to every learning environment she creates.
Our goal is to encourage your child’s talents and to support their needs through individual and small group learning. The process of individual and small group learning gives your child the attention and support they need in a non-competitive environment, while also instilling a love of learning. The small group atmosphere is not overwhelming, allowing your child to develop and learn without the distractions that sometimes accompany a larger group of children. Yet because of the “group” setting, your child will also learn social graces and skills necessary to function within a community.
